MOLSON COORS MARKETING APPRENTICESHIP
Content Creator/Producer

This program experience is located at our headquarters in downtown Chicago. You’ll be working as part of Molson Coors, in-house creative team, Volt. At the program, apprentices meet for an orientation to introduce them to their supervisor. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will have weekly meetings with your supervisor to discuss performance, goals, and projects. To strengthen our motivated culture, you will receive a formal performance evaluation at the end of the program. There are also many opportunities to participate in other activities to learn, develop, and have some fun!

This position was designed to give young creatives access and insights to advertising and design as it relates to our brands. As an apprentice, you will work with various brand teams and contribute to a project that you can use in your portfolio. 
​
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Apprentices should expect to devote a portion of their summer hours to one specific project.

    • Develop and execute creative content strategies for social media platforms, including organic and paid support content.

  • Participate in a social ‘newsroom’ to post and react on brands’ social media platforms

    • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos and images that align with our brand's voice and aesthetic. 

  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines

  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

  • Willingness to work hard and try new things

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred (or similar)

  • Managing workflows under tight deadlines

  • Strong photography and videography skills, with experience in lighting, composition, and storytelling

    • ​Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts. 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You must be 21 years of age or older when the apprenticeship

  • Willingness to work hard and try new things

  • Comfortable working within a team

  • Familiarity with social media and digital platforms

  • Openness to direction and feedback
